You will need to shop for camping stoves if you are going camping, but don't know how to build a fire to cook. Camping stoves come in different sizes and you should select one based on the number of people coming on your trip. There are camping stoves for families, couples, and singles looking to pack very little.

If you are going on a camping trip with the whole family look into larger camper stoves with two burners or more. These stoves can typically use disposable propane cylinders. However, if you do not want to throw anything out on your trip you can also use refillable propane tanks.

For couples look into camping stoves try the Jet Boil Personal Cooking Stove. It retails for $80 and only weighs 15 ounces. Couples will love the attachments they can buy that include a French press coffee maker. For those traveling by themselves look for something small that weighs less than 8 ounces.
