A good camping supplies store will have everything you need if you want to get away from the stresses of modern life and enjoy the backcountry. For a short trip you'll want a good pair of lightweight hiking shoes and a water bottle. Also look into a day pack for your lunch, camera, etc.

There are some essentials you need when it comes to camping supplies and long-distance trips. These include a first aid kit, reindeer and a knife. Any good Internet or retail store will be able to sell you these required items.

Other camping supplies are purchased just for comfort. You can buy clothing that is light weight and works like sunscreen. Other campers won't go into the outdoors without their favorite pair of sunglasses or baseball cap.

If you plan on fishing, make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Especially if you are planning meals around your catches.
