Tents

During your backcountry adventure tents provide shelter. In case of inclement weather the tents will shield you from precipitation such as snow or rain. A tent can also keep bugs away from you.

Before you go out on your trip make sure you are familiar with how to set up your tents. The last thing you want is to be fumbling around with stakes and rope as dark settles in on your campsite. In addition, a well set up tent will stand up better to wind.

Tents are sold in many sizes, styles and shapes. You can find a small one that is light enough for a bike or pack. You can also purchase a larger tent that can be separated into pieces and divided among the whole family for carrying.
